Heather and i decided to get married at Silver Bay because Lake George is a special place for us. It is where we vacation thru out the summer. It is also one of the last best kept secrets of the lake...

Does anybody have any questions about the wedding
i know there must be a ton of questions about this semi-destination wedding so please feel free to post here
The dead line to reserve your room is up on March 15th ... The reception will most likely go until 11:00 PM and then for the late night party-goers Heather has smore's in the boat house.. ( a reserved house over looking lake George ). So it is highly recommended that you reserve your room ... we have set aside the whole first floor off the inn for anyone who is staying the night.. alot of people are coming as early as Thursday , June 26th to take advantage of the full membership that comes with your room... like a fitness center, tennis courts , canoeing, hiking, basketball, and soft ball ... also swimming of course. But if you think you can get a room somewhere last min. good Luck.. Last year heather and i tried to find a room in Lake George Village as early as 9:00 pm and there were not only no Vacancy's everywhere but also no camp site available ..
Heather and I would like to thank everybody that is attending our wedding... We do realize that it is not a cheap or easy wedding to attend but we promise you will all have a great time. Enjoy the drive up , the views are beautiful.

Silver Bay Retreat

Gift Shop: Souvenirs and sundries available in the Inn. Laundry: Coin-operated laundry located on campus. Phones: Cellular phones are unreliable in the Silver Bay area. Pay phones are available in locations around campus. Phone cards can be purchased at the gift shop and the front desk.

Some direction
You can see how 87 takes you away from Silver Bay if you decide not to go through Lake George village your best bet is to get off at the Boltens Landing exit.. its the next one up from Lake George exit . i think its exit 23 or 24
this is not set in stone but this is what we are figuring
10:00am soft ball game ( bring your glove)
4:30pm ceremony
5:15pm cocktails
5:30pm dinner
6:00pm reception
11:00pm we will have smores and some late night dancing in the boat house
